Stanley A. Wielgus, CPA, MST, is a Partner at Stephano Slack, working primarily from the Firm's Wayne office.
A Certified Public Accountant since 1976, Stan brings an extensive depth of experience and knowledge from both the public and private sectors to the Firm. He began his career as an Internal Revenue Agent for the U. S. Treasury Department. From there, Stan became a partner in a regional CPA firm and then a shareholder in a national firm.
His professional expertise includes federal, state, and local taxation, accounting and attest services, estate and financial planning, forensic accounting, and litigation support services.
Stan received his B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University and earned his Masters of Taxation from Widener University. He participated in training in the Expert Witness program through the Justice Department, and, while employed by the Internal Revenue Service, was trained as an Employment Tax Specialist. Stan is a member of both the AICPA and PICPA and involved in a number of philanthropic initiatives throughout the region.
